  • Many training devices have basic weather data, some report weather data alongside your ride/activity, some don’t. Klimat provides the greatest depth and customization of weather data providers, giving you the most relevant insights impacting your training.

If you already have all the information you want, where you want it, then Klimat might not be for you. Thanks for checking it out!

  • This is a “knowledge is power” situation. If you’ve ever thought “why was that ride/run/… so hard?” when you were fueled, rested, and recovered, there may have been another factor at play.

Some weather conditions are obviously impactful and easily perceived. For example, for Cycling, wind speed and direction will greatly impact your speed, efficiency and energy output. However, weather and climate conditions can also be impactful on a personal level, you may observe between training sessions that UV index particularly influences your speed or perceived difficulty.

With access to high quality, advanced data you can tailor your training sessions and recovery, helping you advance your training.

How Klimat Works

  • No. Just connect Klimat to your training log, and it handles the rest. All processing is done in the cloud.

  • After you upload or update an activity in your training log, Klimat looks up the data for the time and location of the activity. It then adds the conditions you want to the activity's description. If you already have a description, Klimat will add the weather to it.

  • Updates normally happen within a few minutes of your activity uploading to your training log, however there are times when the internet is slow. This is rare, but when it happens it can take up to a few hours to process an activity.

  • Klimat won't populate weather for activities that are missing GPS information. If you aren't seeing weather for activities that have GPS information please email support (support@klimat.app).

Privacy

  • Klimat needs access to your training log of choice to add weather and climate data directly to your activities.

  • Klimat's payments are managed by FastSpring. Using FastSpring allows Klimat to accept payments in a variety of ways (PayPal, credit card, etc) and have no knowledge of those details. All storage and processing is handled by FastSpring. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us.
